As we journey through our lives we often find that a little help from here and there sure makes the journey easier. Many of us turn to other people asking for support and prayers. Unity started over 100 years ago as a group of people praying together for optimal health, healing, happiness, and self expression. That tradition still stands in Unity.

Unity considers itself to be culturally Christian yet spiritually unlimited. What this means is that we acknowledge that Jesus Christ is the perfect example of having a relationship of oneness with God. We learn from Jesus’ example that we can have the same relationship with God if we practice Jesus’ instructions. Jesus instructed us to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. This implies we must first learn to love and accept ourselves as being perfect children of God. Then we must extend that perfect love to our fellow human beings as well as to all of God’s creatures and creations.

Unity further acknowledges that there has been, and continues to be, great spiritual masters who can help us achieve our spiritual birthright of having a personal relationship with God. We invite you to visit us and share the journey of spiritual unfolding with other people actively seeking to live a life of gratitude and grandiosity.
